Hoping to to connect, educate and promote the growing digital community of the Gold Coast, Built In Connecticut will be hosting a ‘Pitch Night’ this Friday where you can receive valuable feedback, refine your pitch, meet potential team members, find investors, and, heck, even jump start your idea! Plus, who doesn’t love an opportunity to network with some cool cats?
Held at the Stamford Innovation Center, the Built in CT Pitch provides you, the aspiring entrepreneur, with a unique opportunity to jump start your technology business with a chance to win a full weekend of software development from a team of experts. That night, you’ll receive a 5-minute slot to present your idea to our panel of angels, investors, and entrepreneurs. The panel will provide feedback and then choose a winner from the group of presenters.
The winner will receive a weekend with:
- an architect/lead which hashes out your idea, proposes a MVP (minimum viable product), and provides functional or design documents
- a designer to help with branding, product, and/or website design/wire framing
- a developer to begin implementation of your prototype based on architect’s guidelines
Countless individuals find themselves with the perfect idea for the “next big thing.” Unfortunately, many do not have the technical know-how to create something on their own. Others simply do not know where to begin.
Even if you don’t have something to pitch, there are other ways to participate—whether it’s joining another team, playing matchmaker, or finding an investment.
The pitch submission deadline is tomorrow, Thursday, March 14th at noon. To submit your pitch or get more details (including the event schedule), visit the Built in CT website. What are you waiting for?
