Stamford-based Arccos Golf is receiving up to $1.5 million in additional equity funding from Connecticut Innovations, a state-backed venture capital fund with its main office in Rocky Hill.
Arccos sells sensors and mobile apps that help golfers track their game during a round. Arccos plans to use the funding for product development and other startup expenses.
Sold nationally in the Apple Store and other retailers, the basic Arccos set costs $300 and includes 14 sensors that mount on top of club grips and that of a putter.
