Less than a week after Startup Weekend Stamford, Andy Greenawalt, the CEO of Continuity, one of the top tech companies in CT, will be speaking about his two significant startup successes. If you want to understand the thought process of a repeat entrepreneur and meet fellow startup people over drinks and dinner, this is a night you should not miss. Register here.
And if you have even a passing interest in the area of RegTech, compliance or FinTech, you will learn a lot from Andy, who has been one of the leading voices in the industry for well over a decade. He founded Perimeter eSecurity in 1997 and sold it to SilverSky/BAESystems in 2007. Also in 2007, he started Continuity, voted last year the “Top Tech Company in CT” by the CT Tech Council and Marcum.
I had heard of Andy’s success and fantastic, giving attitude and was delighted to meet him towards the end of 2015 at a gathering of regional startup leaders arranged by US Congressman Jim Himes. Andy was easily the most accomplished startup person in the room, but only spoke briefly, just one more voice in a wide-ranging discussion on startup topics. We met afterwards and eventually worked out the timing for his “Startup Success Story” talk at Stamford Innovation Center.
Andy loves to help fellow entrepreneurs and is passionate about the opportunities for startups in CT. I think we can learn a great deal from Andy and I hope you will join us on Wednesday, March 23 at 6:30pm.
