I need a little help. (And it won’t hurt a bit.)
My team and I have been working for the past 4 months to create a great party at our remarkable 1906 building. What we have in mind is a low-key, low-price Gala to support Operation Hope, a Fairfield-based charity for the homeless that was the favorite charity of a friend who is no longer with us. The party is happening this Friday, May 29 at 7pm.
I need your help to spread the word – even better, please join us and spread the word about the party we are calling Indie Gala.
At the Stamford Innovation Center, we’ve spent the last three years working with a great bunch of people who believe that we can help grow the local economy by becoming a great tech and startup community. One of our sponsors, Arccos Golf, is an SIC alumni company already setting the Golf world on fire and there are a bunch of other great success stories brewing.
Thanks to all of you who are working with us to put Fairfield County on the map, startup-wise. Please come join us to celebrate our current successes of our region. There will be a lot of great people to meet at the Indie-Gala.
What is Indie Gala? It is a party (Friday, May 29, 7PM) that is celebrating the independent spirit of founders, artists and others who have decided to pursue their passion. Maybe that’s you, or a friend, or maybe we can just get you interested in the following:
- Awesome Rum Drinks from Mount Gay Rum (and beer and wine)
- Music by New Canaan’s Moses Brothers. (and maybe a special musical guest).
- Taco Bar by Stamford’s Tacos Guadlajara
- Churros and Chocolate from Stamford’s amazing Lorca.
- Crafts and branded materials from B-Hive, Franklin Street Works and many others.
- Ping Pong and other fun games.
At the door, the ticket will cost $50. Online price today is $39. If you use this discount code, the ticket will be discounted by $5.
So what’s my “ask?” – just make sure that your friends all know about Indie Gala. Encourage them to come and have fun for a good cause. People ask us for help all the time and we do our best to say yes. I’d like to ask you to say yes, and help us make this party a Fairfield County tradition.
