The Arccos Golf sensor pack is now on sale in every Apple Store nationwide.
Even better, the package is on display at “eye level” — the wizards at Apple have decided Arccos is a product very much in alignment with Apple’s strategy.
We first met Arccos Golf co-founders Sal Syed and Ammad Faisel in 2012. We had a great discussion about their vision, concerns and opportunities. We offered them our space and access to local and statewide resources; in Spring of 2013, they made the Stamford Innovation Center their headquarters.
Syed and Faisel had a vision.
Even from the beginning, Syed and Faisel knew they were changing golf forever. Their sensor and app system allows golfers to track every shot and use data to improve their game. From its launch, their product received rave reviews from the golf and tech community. Arccos Golf rapidly grew from to 3 to 10 employees, and eventually jammed 30 people into a space meant for 15. Their energy, focus, and determination were inspirational to all of us, and they brought a sense of fun to each milestone.
The Stamford Innovation Center has a mission.
Here at the SIC, our end game is to support and encourage our startups– we couldn’t be more proud of Arccos Golf. To celebrate their success (and their move to a bigger office!), IP attorney Basam Nabulsi, a partner at McCarter & English, hosted a lavish launch party at the SIC. (Photos above.)
