As managing partner, Barry brings over 25 years of experience in private equity to the Stamford Innovation Center with expertise in distance education, communications & media, retailing, consumer products, business services, and manufacturing. Additionally, Barry is the founder of Stoneybrook Capital, former MD at Commonwealth Capital and co-founder of Chemical Venture Partners.
Chief Marketing Officer
Peter is responsible for Marketing, Business Development, Strategy and many other aspects of the Stamford Innovation Center business. He is the emcee and interviewer for our events. He is always happy to talk to local startups.
Janis is Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Stamford Innovation Center where she mentors entrepreneurs and connects them to needed resources. She started and leads a women’s entrepreneur forum, Founder’s Connect, to help provide women entrepreneurs of Fairfield County more access to capital, networks and knowledge. A committed and passionate advisor to startups, she recently created Juice, an event to connect food innovators, mentors and investors. Janis coaches dozens of regional startups, using her proven methodology to help them develop their pitch and go-forward plans.
Valerie is the creative vision at the Stamford Innovation Center. She can find her way out of any paper bag with finesse and learns quickly, even under pressure. She enjoys writing and designing— her style can be seen in Stamford Innovation Center’s logo, Coworking page, weekly newsletter, and in print.
Kristofer is responsible for taking care of the Stamford Innovation Center community. In all likelihood he is the first face you will see at the front desk. Stop by and say “Hello!” He connects new members with resources and introduces them to everyone. Kris is responsible for scheduling speakers for our weekly Innovation Roundtable. When someone contacts us looking for one of our advisors, Kris helps schedule a time for a meeting. He is working on expanding our membership offerings and reaching new coworkers.
